Is there going to be a level meter example easy to hard. If you have
played tr before will the game be easy to play example first level?

I can't say I've played TRU yet, though I'd imagine it would be similar style to legend with 'Easy/Medium/Hard' selection.... I'd also hope the levels are harder so exploration needs to be done, and I'd hope that the gadgets can get people on the right track for this.

Usually the first level is easy so people can learn how to play the game, or how to do things within the game.

TRL was far to easy in my opinion... Finished te game to much times.
It's just not a challenge, on the other hand TRA was a lot more difficult and more on the Tomb Raider level. So I hope it will be more like TRA! ;)

I didn't say I'd hope it was as hard as TRL... I said the level system would be similar.
I really hope it's harder... but no necessary gadgets (apart from grapple...)
Optional gadgets allow them to make the game harder IMHO

I just hope that you actually have to know what you are doing this time. Sometimes I encountered a puzzle, and I had no idea what I was doing. I just followed the obvious set out path and pulled a lever.

Legend was farr too easy, there weren't even puzzles in it.
It didn't require me to think. Maybe fun for someone that has his first experience with Tombraider. But I expect more, They did a good job on Anniversairy though, they didn't dumb it down to much. Some nice puzzles were in there.

1) Do you mean the 'classic' games with this? I haven't played them all... but I don't have a clue what I'm doing half the time... I'll pull a lever/switch and go into the next doorway... fight/find keys, etc. and then have to find out where to go next. This "no idea what I do, but I do it" thing comes from playing the game well enough, I think.

2) Legend was quite easy... but I did struggle with some stuff. I was stuck in the 3-block puzzle in Bolivia... I got the silver + saw gold... but couldn't get the 2 blocks up to the raised platform. Someone had to guess + tell me to jump on it before I knew...
Also stuck on getting sword piece in Kazakhstan (oh, you have to grapple it)
And in england king arthur tomb bit (with the ringing bell... this was probably me not trying around enough....)
and killing the final boss (oh, you have to press 'e')

I admit I also spent some time with that sword, I didn't know i had to grapple it.
But that really isn't a puzzle.
And ringing a bell isn't a puzzle compared to the puzzles i've seen from core. that really makes you rip out your hair. But in the end gives the satisfying feeling that you solved it.
I spent hours with 11 snake stautes in Tombraider 4:mad2:

And to ge that gold box on that platform was a nice puzzle, Too bad it's one of the few. \
Anniversairy was full of puzzles.

I didn't say that you told that ;)
It's just my opinion about what has nothing to do with your post..

I never actually found the hard difficulty that hard, but to be honest I find that in most games so Tomb Raider isn't an exception. I need hard hard! Impossible hard! Some kind of difficulty which would make me launch my controller out of the window please lol . :o

Not everybody is so great like you ^ :)
I like to collect al of the clothes and the other things... So I have to play the hard game to...
With legend it wasn't a challenge for me to collect everything, but with Anniversary I knew I'm not patience enough to play every level again and again till I have everything :P

Besides, the time traile is difficult enough? (A)

Granted, the time trail was actually a very decent challenge in Anniversary. I thoroughly enjoyed beating the time trails as everything near enough had to be perfect to beat the time. Especially on the Great Pyramid where the wall runs had to be spot on.

They probably were without the cheats you get from them....
(I did peru, then lost island, then egypt, then greece)...
St Francis Folly was actually pretty hard for time trial... I love the vertical room in a hateful sort of way...

That sounds odd .

Anyway , I may SOMETIMES use cheats for other games , but NEVER for TR .

i wish CD would not only make the levels in TRU harder but longer... some levels in TRL took less than 20 minutes... TRA did a better job but nothing compares to the lengths of the levels in the older games...

I also want a longer harder game that will challenge me .
