View Full Version : Rain & Snow...how to?

I dont know how to do rain and snow in the LE. How can I do this? what wad do I need to download to get it? I need rain for my level.

Rain is possible by using a specially designed waterfall (TRWad should have it). Snow is accomplished by stacking water rooms above and below the room you want it in.

BTW Talk to JohnnyZ about the snow, as I am sure he knows how to exactly set it up. I tried this task once, but I never succeded in my trials.

How about asking core for an update? It's annoying to make 100 detours ans spending so much objects for rain and snow.:p :(

I think someone tried this before... (T_Rosevelt I think...) but it didn't work, and we gained nothing from it. It was a huge thread, but was in the more "ancient" pages when I found it...

We can always try again, but I'm not expecting much, it would be nice though :D

What about the misc_sprites object? Shouldn't that be the rain, snow and Lara's footprints?

it should, but it is not supported in our Tomb4.Exe.


Let's start a poll. Who wants an update. I am shure there are many members who want an update, aren't? :D
