Actually, I don't think it has been announced yet. But I certainly think Croft Manor will be there :D

I think it is there. But, I read one article that described Lara walking through a burning manor.

Dunno how true that is.

maybe that wud be part of the GAME not the TRAININ level ... jst like TRII which we can play Lara's Home but the last level was there in her house ...

Yes, that's probably the most likely. I did read the manor would be used as a training area, with many areas with training equipment and an outdoor area. (I read that too, it's all coming back to me).

The burning manor could be just a rumour though.

Dude, you got a destructive mind.

IMO I think we should be given an option to custom design Croft Manor much in the same way as Level Editor did for custom made levels.

Bring 'em on!

Yeah, he kinda scared me in Anniversary. Suddenly he was standing in her room and then suddenly in the main hall. It didn't seem normal to me :(
It would be great if he walked around again. He don't necessarily have to follow Lara, but just walk around looking at the wierd relics and stuff or maybe cleaning the house :p

That would be quite good actually, i found it annoying that Winston always followed Lara around as she had no privecy in the old ones but in the news ones if they something similar to what you said that would be pretty neat.

Well yes, I too think it would be fun to wreak a little havoc so long as it's all miraculously restored for the next play ;)

Afterall, Lara DID wreck her manor in the movie. What was it she said? 'I got up this morning and didn't like anything' to the couriers delivering her father's letter

My brother actually called whilst I was watching TR2 a while back and he watched a bit and said 'She's always wrecking her home' :D It was when she was sparring with Hilary I think and getting all uptight and chucking things
:lmao:

I liked the fact that in Home Sweet Home (TR2), we get to interact a little more with the manor like being able to shoot out the glass. That's what bullets do - they don't tend to bounce in the way they do in the training manor ;)

I'd like to be able to interact a lot more with things in the manor, especially the earlier ones. I want to do things like turn on the taps or shoot the meat off the hooks in the freezer. And yes, I'd like to run Winston over but would probably feel terrible and guilty afterwards  :D

Hmm.. I would like a front or backyard training course to return like in TR 3. That'd be purty.

Destructible mansion ? This isn't Mercenaries (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=35307)! If you really personally want to destroy her mansion, you could do so in one of The Sims games by creating one and Sim Lara and annihilating that mansion as much as your heart's content by setting it on fire beginning from the kitchen. Hehe..

What WAS up with old Winston suddenly teleporting through time and space in Anniversary ? I noticed that after replaying it 2 days ago. Him room-hopping is now officially more annoying than following. At least when he followed her around, us players were able to keep him at bay for a certain time.

I wanted to injure him as well but somehow he's dodging the bullets apparently in Anniversary. Must've learned to "free his mind" by possibly secretly learning Lara's Adrenaline Dodge. Makes me curious.... Or maybe the bullets simply had a clipping issue.
Darn ! [ Evil Laughter ]

Anyway, mansion stays intact. Winston needs.... no.. MUST to be hurt severely because if he's gone entirely, where's the fun in that ? :D

~~

And by the way, seriously, I doubt the mansion will be missing in Underworld even if the game is the conclusion half to Legend. It's her home.

But I like to destroy things. And it would make the game so much more real if we could.

There could also be a purpose to the destruction, like shoot the window to get to the roof or on to a balcony to open a new door. Destruction doesn't always have to be mindless.

I'd also like to restart the manor. Everytime I want to replay the Legend manor I have to start a new game.

It might be but they might end up going with the 'lets destroy it' option. TRU has actually taken quite a few things from AOD yet CD clearly down want to admit it.

Lol. Yeah..they should make him act like a normal butler. =p

On the old tr games..He always scared me. =[

He just keeps following u,as he farts..Who would hire a butler that farts and makes Spooky noises?!

IT WAS SAID

on the "other forums" that the mansion would return by one of head guys over there...he then also gave the impression that we would have it for a while anyways............

speculating that something does happen to the manor(anyone from CRYSTAL reaing this???)

i think lara will be on route somewhere and shell find out VIA HEADSET that theres a problem at the manor....maybe amnda ..or rutland..or new enemie has gotten there and demolished the house maybe by fire??

and thus the headset and equipment get ruined....meaning no more CHATTY zip and alister ruining the precious ambiance!!!!!!:)

I think it would be cool if she could press the interact button to talk to people inside the mansion. In Legend, Zip would talk to her when she came into the room with all the computers and technical equipment, but she never got to talk to Winston during gameplay. That made Winston seem kind of creepy and distant.

That might only work if they incorporated the manor as a return spot during a level, kind of like in original TR film. However, they need to stop borrowing from the films, IMO.

Or maybe they could input a Manor Editor. One can dream...... :D
