So basically, GTA4 pretty much does everything K&L does, only better in every way. The cover mechanic actually works, and the bullet effects are very awesome. When you shoot someone, it feels like you've shot them.

The only thing Kane & Lynch does better is the close combat system. I liked being able to close the difference and drop someone with Kane's fist-knife.

Eidos should look at GTA4 for ideas for K&L2

Eidos didn't make Kane & Lynch, IO did. Eidos is just the publisher.

"When you shoot someone, it feels like you've shot them."

I presume you're talking about Kane and Lynch?

No but seriously. GTAIV and Kane and Lynch are entirely different games. GTA is free-roam action with an odd sense of humour. K&L is level-based with a gritty and dark sense of humour. GTA bored me a lot quicker than K&L did.

In short, I disagree with your opinion.

im pretty sure he was talking about the game play and not to story, i prefer GTA just due to the fact that the people behind the game know how to build a great story without flat out ignoring the underlying gameplay problems, this game could have been so much better if they had have made it more like the first few levels instead of doing a complete 180 on the story half way through.
