Game never starts (Intro infinite looping)

I had this setup:
GeForce 6800XT
AMD X2 4200
3,5 GB DDR2

I bought the game in christmas, hoping it would work on low settings. But after a flashing loading screen that had some background music playing for 4 minutes, a intro movie started. Thing is, when this movie is done, the game freezes while background music is still playing for 1 more minute until it finds a new movie and plays it. And so it keeps going forever, never stops. 3 or 4 movies all over again, and again and again and again.

I decided to check if my graphics card was listed as a card could play it all. Nope, so I dropped the case. But this week, I bought a 8800 series graphics card from nvidia and was so eager to run this game at full settings.

But the same problems came back to me.
Anyone have a slight idea on what is going on? I have all the latest drivers.

It may have nothing to do with your build. It could just be the game. It's a very very buggy game that hasn't been patched since its release. it's too late to take the game back, so it looks like you're out some cash.
