No in-game voices

Is anyone else having a problem with in-game voices not playing, only getting subtitles? I've seen a couple posts around the internet regarding this issue, but none of them actually address how to fix it.

this depends on your soundcard settings sometimes.

if you have digital enabled and 5.1 set up it is trying to do voices on the channels you dont have active,

have a play with your settings.
