Xbox 360, Peru Level, Tech Error, Game Saving?

I played through the Peru level and got to the begining of the Greece level saved at the begining of it, and took a break for the day, came back the next day, and was playing through most of Greece, when I realized that all my progress for peru, things unlocked, relics and artifacts found, etc. was gone, as if I hadn't done it in the first place.

What's worse is there is no start new game option, so I can't go back and redo Peru. more importantly, the replay a level list shows ??? where the Peru levels should be.

What I want to know is what happened that I lost my progress? Also How would I be able to go back? Do I delete my game information and start ALL over again, or keep playing, beat the game and come back and start a new game?

Is this something that is fixable? Can it be patched? Does Eidos even know about this?

I'm freaking out here trying to figure out a fix to this. can any one comment on this. I'm also worried that Greece will get erased, as I move to Egypt, and so on and so forth.

So has anyone had this issue?

This is how it works for the pc and PS2, don't know if there are any variations to how the Xbox 360 works:

Firstly, the replay levels will come once you have completed one area. You have completed Peru so you can replay those levels and go back to find any missing relics or artifacts. So no worries there. As you scroll though the levels in the replay menu, it should tell you how many relics etc you have, if you've completed a time trial etc. Look over that and see if the relics you've collected have been counted. Also, if you do go back into a level, pressing pause and selecting the Level progress, this should also tell you how many relics and artifacts you have for that level.

From the main menu, you should see a Rewards section, you will be able to see what rewards you have from there. Check that. If you have already and your progress is still lost, then come back, maybe someone else will be able to help.

I'm sorry if my advice seems obvious, I was just trying to think of things that you may have overlooked without realising. :)

Oh, I just realised your on the xbox 360, in that case you might not have chosen your save game device when you went on the xbox.

it was there before, i was able to go to the rewards and see the unlockables, outfits, etc.

but as I said, last night, it disappeared and is gone! and There is no start game option to start a new game.

the only thing that could fix it is to delete my profile for TR:A and start ALL over again. I am hoping it doesnt come to that.

I know it was saved because the days before this, I would come home, play through a level, get to the end, save at the save prompt, get back to a state where I could turn off the 360. and take a break for the day.

this is a error on part of the code I know it. game progress doesnt just vanish. somehow the profile coding is corrupt, but that doesnt explain why my further progress into greece and egypt is still there.
