help on how to zoom in and out

Just started playing behind the enemylines and cannot zoom in or out going to options and it is telling me 2 use arrow keys and + _ keys but not working could u please help ty

+ or - (numerical keypad) zoom in/out
* (numerical keypad) normal zoom level
