More issues with Kane and Lynch....

Hi All,

I see there are multiple posts with issues etc - However this one i have seen in its entirety.

I installed kane and Lynch fine - No glitches or issues. Using Vista 32bit Premium. After initial install i decided to give it a shot - Game ran perfectly, not issues etc. Switched system off in normal manor - Upon starting up again, i get error --> kane and Lynch stopped working and it fails to boot up, i have tried all the regular stuff, firewall, reinstall, drivers, ETC and still the same issue

System spec is as follows.

Q6600 @ 3.0ghz
2gb of Crucial Ballistix
8800GT 512mb
X-FI
Asus Striker X-Treme Mobo.

As far as i can see, everything is in order with drivers....Any pointers in the right direction from anyone ?

right click you icon for K&L and make sure its target and start in is right looks like so but i am useing 64bit so yours maybe x32 not x86 see if that works


Target "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eidos\Kane and Lynch Dead Men\kaneandlynch.exe"


Start In: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eidos\Kane and Lynch Dead Men"

Hi Winter,

Thanks for your reply - K&L didnt give me an option for shortcuts, i cannot find this option in the properties of the Exe file - Can you elaborate a little more ?

You should have a shortcut to K&L in Games Explorer, don't you ?
