I'm new to TRA, using the Wii, and having a problem in the Manor. I have noted that there are many posts regarding grappling on other systems, but I do not see much regarding the Wii. So, you Wii users out there, some help please. Could I just get some tips on using the grapple and wall walking, esp in the gym. I can usually attached the grapple, but once you stop walking I have trouble getting started again. Do you just left/right/left/right to get started again? And how do I make the backwards jump to the sloped column? Is there a trick with the camera?

lara's moves are camera-centric.
nunchuk-N means run away from the camera,
nunchuk-W means turn left with respect to the camera, and so on.
(if you turn left continuously, you'll run in a circle as opposed to going west to california, from new york).

for the wall-runs, where is the camera?
if the camera is directly facing the wall then (left)/(right) (i.e. nunchuk-W/E) will build momentum.
if you are at one side of the wall looking towards the other side then (run away)/(run back) (i.e. nunchuk-N/S) will build momentum.
and yes, the camera waggles slightly while wall-running but it isn't a problem when you understand the mechanics ...

wall-jumping is consistent with all of the previous comments.
the catch seems to be at what moment should you jump.
at the instant that she stops and begins to turn around works for me.
you can prep your jump direction just before she ends the wall run,
just don't jump until she's ready to accept your jump direction.
