Question on Requiem

This is asking anyone who has figured out the secret in Requiem, of course. The very last clip, where 47 is at this strange oriental place, does anyone have any idea as to what that is? Only two things came to my mind: A brothel, only because of the appearance of the place; and another assassin organization. I am writing a story that is a continuation based on my views as to what happens after the 4th game. But my only lead is that place 47 goes. I just can't come up with a good answer as to what it is. Please let me in on your theories, or if you happen to know for a fact what it is, please tell. Thanks. :)

Firstly, I don't think it's a brothel, at least not in the same category as was seen in Lee Hong level. Where are the girls, madam, guards? And the place looks kind of grim for that.

Assassin organization? Deserted and unguarded. Unlikely, IMO.

My best theory so far is that it's some kind of Chinese opium den or something similar. You see cubicles with benches. The curtains are see-through and that indicates that whatever is going on there doesn't require absolute privacy. Plus, if you enhance the video, you can see smoke (or steam) in the back. It could be just a special effect or it may be an important detail.

Aah, i see. Well, i didn't actually think it was a brothel. That was just one of the things that came to mind. What is IMO? It doesn't really seem like a den, though... That doesn't seem to fit... Unless he was trying to take part in the earnings of the place... Hmm... Heh, this kind of sucks. I can't come up with a good conclusion as to what the place is. And it obviously must be included in my story. x.x

There is always a chance it wasn't really meant to be something specific other than some kind of undefined "establishment". I don't see why you can't use your imagination here and make it whatever you want it to be. :)

Indeed, that is a possibility. Well, i hope i can come up with something. Though, it may take awhile. o.o I tend to have to think a lot for things like that. So, thanks for your help. It is appreciated. :)
