Crashes to Desktop(windows XP)

I installed without any problem but when i wana play it it crashes to desktop when they say SAVE GAME FOUND then i click accept then it will straight away shut the program and goes to desktop without any error message.... and if u r wondering my spec is

8600GTS
1.86 dual core intel
2gb ram
windows xp service pack 2

pls help
