Tomb of Tihocan boss fight-Dealing with the centaurs. This boss fight I seen someone play online through a walk-through, they had a video. I thought ok looks easy until I discover I must know how to roll. I do flips but I don't think that is helping to get shield that protects these bosses. I play on Xbox 360 so I need to know what buttons to push to roll. I bought the game through xbox 360 so I never got the instructions. I know once I can get the shields it does not look that hard but it's getting the shields I am having a problem with. It also says in the walk through:
The centaurs attack and you have to use the Adrenaline Dodge and shoot their head.
Remember: You have to press and hold the Crouch button..

The crouch button is B on my Xbox 360 controller, so how do I shoot it wont let me, now while crouching down?

I just need to know what controls to use to get the shields on Xbox 360.
Then I don't think there will be any other problems. I watched the whole video, until the end.

That's exactly how it's done.

Shoot them until they're enraged. You'll have a sound and a visual cue that one of them is going to rush towards you.

Then, when it gets close, the screen will blur. Immediately hold any direction and press roll button (B on your case). You'll start the adrenaline dodge.

Wait for the sound cue as the two red aims on screen meet each other and become red. When it does, quickly press the shoot button. The centaur will be stunned.

Before it gets back to its senses, throw the grapple on the shield and pull it with the interaction button to drag the shield out of its hands.

Repeat the process on the other centaur, then when both just use the petrifying glaze, just use their shields to reflect back and shoot them while they're turned into stone, as you've seen on the videos.

Easy peasy. :)

I must be deaf: . I never heard any sound cues and I must be blind because I did not see any visual cue. LOL. I'm confused.

Although in TRL on the serpent I had to listen for a certain sound and it took me many hours to figure out the woop sound it made. I was like oh that sound.

I seen the screen blur so I hold left stick up and hit B) This makes Laura do lots of flips. However if I hold B then I crouch down. if I do not have left stick up. I think it worked that way. I'm very tired so I try it again tomorrow.

I'm not good at these games but I'm trying. You might have to go into more detail with me before I get it. :D

Ty for trying to help me.

It's ok, we're here to help.

It's important that you perform the adrenaline dodge succesful. I forgot to say before, but you can NOT let go of the "lock target" button (should be the left shoulder button), so when you press side and roll she will roll with guns drawn and focusing on the enemy.

Here's a video tutorial of the adrenaline dodge. It doesn't show any buttons to press, but if you made this far, you certainly know where the buttons you need are. ;)

I kind of remember. I know what your talking about. I did it before, but I was just pushing buttons and when I did it, well it just happened. What I'm saying is I kind of got lucky and just pushed the right buttons. I forget if you push the left shoulder button in or up while I push the B button. I have done the move before, so I remember what it looks like. I'll have to play around with it, until I remember. After I eat I'm going back to try this again, wish me luck.
Thank you again for your help.

Yes the bosses just died and now I'm heading into Egypt. It took me about 15 times before I got the hang of adrenaline dodge. I kept bumping into the horses. :D I decided to move back some and roll forward and that seemed to help. I also had problems trying to turn the horse guys into stone but I did it. it just took some time and practice. What fun, now on to the next level. I also looked online for the controls you were talking about which helped. thanks.

Congratulations! Get used to the adrenaline dodge, because it'll play a crucial role in the last two bosses just as well.

I'm now in the Sanctuary of the Scion level 11. I just got past the Obelisk puzzle, which took me awhile to get it. Um I do not know if I could beat the time trial because it took me about 20 minutes just to figure out this puzzle. LOL
I do not have all the relics and artifact for each level but I do have some. I figure I'll beat the game first and then go back and get what I had problems getting before. I just want to get to end of game, then I work on the harder stuff. I mean it's hard to get to end I have not seen the end yet but some of those artifacts I just could not get. I will get them but that make take me a few years. :D

Look for a game cheat if there is one that might help. I do not know of any off hand but I'd like to find the cheat if it exist. :D Then I could go through the game and once I had to beat the boss I could die like I used in TRL before it got changed. I would die and then my time would start, so gave me lots of time to die before the end. :lmao:

... call me crazy (get in line first) but ...

i'm one of those "i gotta do it myself"-type players, so when i get some time i'll figure out the shortest path thru all the rooms ...

thanks for the encouragement anyway, and i want you (donna) to find many more relics and unlock all the cool outfits!

rabid metro,

I will find all the relics but as far as beating time trials I do not know if that will ever happen because it takes me many hours to get through one level. I highly doubt I could do a level in 6 minutes or less. I mean be fun to try but I don't think I'm going to get too far.
