GAMESPY vs. ALL SEEING EYES

after the last problems whit gamespy and all other problems before, may i found a way to see server for the next game (BSM2)
we should use ALL SEEING EYE for it.
ALL SEEING EYE is a YAHOO product and EIDOS should ask them how to involve BSM or BSM2 into the ASE list.
i use it for other games and it never crash!!
i think they need only a BSM.exe any 1 of EIDOS should ask them

what EYE support?

+ u can see server names
+ u can see server settings
+ u can see server ping
+ u can see who is in server
+ u can create PW server
+ u can create own names like (-=)ĆکŦ(=-Ąκαģĩ)
+ u can see server location
+ u dont need to register
+ u see score
+ u see actually map
+ u can use freeversion as long as u want
+ u can join server from ASE mainside
+ u can host server from ASE mainside
+ u can add friends and see were they play
+ u can kick/ban from ASE mainside
+ the ASE includes a automatic game patcher
+ no port forwarding
+ a player host a match whit thcp
+ chat function (only full version)
- no ranking system

and much more!

Well I don't know if it's that bright and shiny.
I know the All Seeing Eye product but my guess is that it is only as good as the software on which it casts its eyes.
Technically you can only "probe" servers that has the capability to report you back what you want to know. Counter Strike (any version) has a VERY VERY good server component, not to mention that it's modable so many people out there has the means to know how it works.
(I just insert here for EIDOS: the publisher of this title VALVE not only supports but ENCOURAGES this. Probably Eidos managers will have to first look up the word "encourage" in the dictionary to understand what we're talking about here... :) )

So after all the best would be for the DEV team to try to build or license a more quality network code or develop their own for BS:M2....

Agreed Eye is far superiour tp GaySpy but for the ultimate online setup check out the Multi system used for 'World in Conflict' MassGate, it supports VOIP, buddy tracking, Clan Wars, and stacks, stacks more....

GameSpy is the trailerpark trash of online gaming and edios should show some class and find a better partner for a quality release like the Battlestations series.

Another option would be steam.

I've never had a problem with steam getting online.

But anything other than gamespy would be a massive step foward!
