no you can use benoculars to take a closer look....

...because I wanted to make a movie, dang. It would be sweet if they put that in w/ another patch although i don't think it's possible.

thats for aircraft, Ships AA view is closest to free look, remember to check the AA view for heavy bombers (MMB for me) lets you use there gunners 360 view an is great fun.

But i must say a free camera allowing you to raom around battlefield would have been nice to see all the carnage, that plus a replay function, maybe BSM 2 hehe.
