GIRLS VS. BOYS AT VGXPO
The PMS Clan is coming to VGXPO! These lovely ladies know how to play and we're giving you the chance to see if you can beat a professional gamer. Good luck...

Well guys a 1 day trip is not so bad.
I hate to be off-topic but since VTroop and Mon3y are going to converse here anyways I decided to share a short story about 1 day trips.
Earlier this year I took a short trip from Canada through the U.S. back to Europe. It was an urgent matter so in fact I left Canada Friday afternoon and arrived back Sunday evening.
The funny thing happened in New York where I changed flight.
You need to know that when you go through the U.S. with a connecting flight you still have to go through passport control and pick up your luggage and transfer it manually to the connecting flight.
So I'm at the international terminal in the crowd arriving from various continents with a typical heavy luggage that is a regular part of such a trip.
Myself traveling very light, all I have is a small sized backpack for my notebook and change of clothes. When passing through customs you need to hand in a declaration form which is normally a split second event.
Not this time.
The officer takes the paper - it says where you're coming from - and stops me.
I thought trouble is clearly on my way.
She asks if I haven't forgotten about my luggage since I carry nothing.
I respond with a smile that certainly not, I travel light :)
She hesitates.
I decided to add a statement that I just had a short trip to Europe, that's all, no need to worry.
In the meantime I guess she ran a protocol in her head as what to do now. Is this a plain idiot she is dealing with or some serious conspiration...?
Then she gives me a look that says it all: kinda 'OK you poor thing, you're clearly out of your mind' and waves so I can go... ...Welcome to the United States!
:D

LOL :D
Well you know the "gels and liquids" rule is also instituted now in Europe.
And remember: you still can bring any drinks on board that you purchased AFTER you passed the airport security checkpoint.

The show went really well. It was quite a task taking on the convention center for the show but it was a good turn out and the vendors that were there were great. Dell had their game experience show with 75 computers for us to set up and have people to play. They were Dells 720. Nice machines! MTV was there with Rock Band tour. Panasonic had a 100 inch flat screen and we had Wii tournament on. We had 360 Halo 3 tournaments. All the old school arcade game (35 machinea) were set up for free play all weekend. Nvidia was there. And lots of other vendors.
Another good that was there was the Breaking-In conferences. They had people there from the computer industry to speak to people and kids about getting an education to work in the gaming industry. And schools were there to recruit.
Hope to see you there next year.
