Image converter site?

Does anyone know where i can find a site where you convert .bmps into .gifs/.jpgs without scewing up the image? I knew one site but it shut down

You can convert them on your PC. Just open the .bmp file with MS Paint (in your Star Menu\Programs\Accessories) and save as .jpg or .gif or any other available format. :)

the GIF and JPEG formats are not always supported by MS Paint
on my pc for instance, MS Paint can only save in the Bitmap format and nothing else
I used to be able to save .jpg with MS Paint, but for some reason, not anymore....

I think it has to do with plug-ins

Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop is the way to go.

Mine is version 5.1, included in Windows XP, it can save as .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .tif and .png. Of course Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, or even ACDSee will do the job! ;)
