So yeah I'm about to buy it for $40 USD :D !

My questions are:

Will the PC version work in ANY region in the computer? I know that region won't be affected on the game disk since there is no region lock though I always have a sense of doubt...

When you import music from the soundtrack CD, does it provide you accurate tracklisting along with artist and an album art?

Since this is the PC's collector's edition, does it still come with a DVD Video disc? and it's PAL coded right? Will that work on PC?

Thanks in advance:D

I'm fairly sure that PC DVD-Rom drives are not region coded, so you should be able to play both the game and the documentary disc. :)

Where are you getting it from? I've seen that shipping from Game.uk to Brazil isn't as expensive as I'd thought it be, but since I've spent 200+ Euros on Tomb Raider resin figures I can't afford anything else this month. Hopefully the CE will still be available next month!

Alright cool:D! And uh the documentary is a DVD-video right? Like say if I hada PAL DVD player, it'd work there right? Or is it just meant for PC? (I don't have a PAL set but o well).

And about where I get it from...:D

Well. more like recently ordered from...You can get it off from YesAsia (www.yesasia.com):D! This is the site I go to where I get all my asian music CDs and stuff. My #1 source for Japanese and Korean entertainment- but when it comes to games not really

ALTHOUGH just yesterday, knowing they sell games even in Europe and US region, I checked out Anniversary just for fun and they had it:D! Hearing all over hte place, people had to pay so much and this is just awesome:D!

And the direct link is right here (http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-w/section-games/pid-1004882238/):D!
IT's currently IN-STOCK so yeah better get it before it's too late (I doubt it'd sell as fast since hardly anyone knows that Ta Tomb Raider game is being sold on a international asian internet store:D!)
If you didn't get it yet, then this is a good deal:D! You can be rest assured that you can trust on this site.

Actually they are. In PC DVD-Rom you can change region 5 times. after that if you want to change it again you must buy new Rom.

Yes the PC DVD drives are region coded. BUT, it's the media that has the coding. DVDs do not have to be region coded at all. And most games are not region coded. At least not PC games. Console games on DVD are sometimes region coded but PC games rarely are.

Movies are region coded so that the publisher can control where the movies can be played so they can gouge each region for the initial high price.

Games on the other hand are usually only region coded to try to conform to local laws about violence, gore or sex. But the region codes aren't really suited to that. The only other reason, generally, is to try to stop piracy. So they deliberately region code the DVD and do not sell in regions where piracy is rampant (i.e. China). But again, that's usually only on consoles.

I can't recall the last time I saw a PC game with a region code on the DVD.

Whoo you scared me there! They better not be region coded for this game:D! On PC anyway. And yeah I know the intentions of region codes on movies though I still think it's not fair 'cause I have so many Japanese DVDs but sadly they are region coded-_-...I'd have to get around it in order to watch the movie. I even buy the movie when it makes a theatrical release/DVD release in North America:D

Well so yeah anyway lol none of you guys had answered my question:D So the documentary for the game is a DVD-VIDEO disc right? Is it region-coded and it's playable on a DVD player with a PAL DVD player and TV set right? Otherwise, PC...

Yes the PC DVD drives are region coded.
Yeah, but those regions are checked for movies only, where the region is stored in the encrypted part - data discs (like this game) have no region stored on them whatsoever.

Hi,

I have the Collector's Edition. It was the only one they had at the game store, and there was only one copy left on the shelf lol
The documentary DVD plays fine on a PAL dvd player. I watched it on my TV

CD doesn't have tracklistings. I had to put them in myself on my iTunes. There was a thread somewhere that listed them.

If I remember correctly, it has all the trailers from the past, art gallery/renders from the past, and a documentary (that can be found online but I still prefer DVD quality;))

So I don't have it yet and like I said, I'm gonna have to watch it on PC since I dont' have a PAL set (I have region code breaker but that's not really gonna help..). I live in Canada:)
