I'll start:
1. While your guns are drawn, if you press your "interact" button (E is default?) you can manually reload.
I love this one since I never found a reload button to map. It's kind of a hidden control that is very handy for keeping your weapons loaded up. Nothing is worse than getting a big boss lined up for the special attack, doing the "bullet time" move and hearing *click* and waiting on a reload! :mad2:
2. Pressing the "Display HUD" button centers the camera behind Lara.
For you gamepad users, this should help a lot to get your bearings. Pressing and holding it at all times gives the same effect as playing with a mouse and keyboard where the camera stays behind her until you move it to look around.

Try using manual aim with your guns (at the item you want to hook to), then hit your grapple instead of firing the guns.
Some of the items you have to use the grapple on are...bugged. At least they are for me and my grapple goes to them and then just returns right back without hooking on. This would mean game over if I hadn't figured this one out. I don't think it is intentional, but either way manual aim + grapple fixes it!
hi :), a question:
How is a jump from a hooked wall performed? I mean I'm in Damocles room trying to reach the rotating lever to open the exit door. There is a place where u use your grappling hook on a ring on the wall by the top and u need to jump from this wall to the second columns set. The problem is that it seems I can't make a jump to any direction but to the left along the wall, and I need to jump backwards directly from it :mad2:. It's said in help messages that I simply press the direction at the moment of jump, still it didn't work. And "direction" is a relative term in TRA btw, since it changes from the view camera and so do the buttons. I suppose there would be more places like this one, so I'm in a real trouble here...
So does anyone know the exact key sequence to make the jump correctly?

Get very familiar with the swan dive. It will save your life at least once that I can recall. It's also a great way to move faster, especially down stairs.

Worst control issue with TRA. Jumping off a wall in a particular direction from a grappled run is a HUGE pain. But try this: right when she gets to the end of a run and is switching directions, push the direction you want to jump, and then hit jump. You have to be very quick about it since she's pretty fast at changing directions. It's the point where she gets to the end, does her footwork, and turns around. There is a very, very brief split second pause. Right at that moment, jump off in the direction you need.
