The new Natla is a GODDESS among humans and cat people

I have to say I am happy we can finally get rid off all those crazy theories. We can confirm:

- Natla is definatly not human nor did she mutate at the end of the game.
- Boss Natla is not a clone of the Natla who fell in the lava pit.

She is officially Atlantean. But I have to say she seems to border on the lines of being a demigod among her race. All other Atlanteans look like skinless cats and ET-lookalikes. Natla still seems less skinless and more scaley, not to mention has elaborate gold patterns on her body and a humanoid face. On top of that, it looks like she can change form at will. She escapes her prison in the 1940s looking like a demon, 51 years later she is a young looking human, and obviously reverting back to demon form at the end. This suggest one of two things:

1. She is a shapeshifter like the Nephilim in AOD, the demon form being her true form.

2. She is like a vampire. She has her natural human form and her natural demon form, able to switch back and forth.

Also she survived a nuke blast, being trapped in a crystal for thousands of years, lived 51 years among humans without aging a day and survived two encounters with Lara in Atlantis - what are the chances of Natla NOT kicking the bucket during their third encounter and getting fried by the pyramid blowing up? This is a remake after all, Legend 2 will most likely be tied to TRA and Natla is THE most popular villain in the series. What are the chances of her comming back?

EDIT: Can I add, WE ALL KNOW SHE WAS A QUEEN OF ATLANTIS, AND SHE IS AN ATLANTIAN. This does not mean that she did'nt mutate at the end of TR1. When she was a queen, she looked like a normal human being, kind of alien or elf like and in royal clothing. Mutant Natla sprouted wings and had a mutated arm/fireball thing and looked like a monster. This is not 'Atlantian Natla' it's 'MUTANT Natla.

I don't think she's a shapeshifter. I think after all those years she kind of just lost her powers. After all, she didnt 'regain' her powers when she fell into the lava, she just mutated.

That gives me an idea. Lara should'nt cacth fire when she falls into Atlantian laval, she should mutate! And then die of course. It would just be another great death like the Hand of Midas death. Or at the very least, sink. She didnt sink into it in TR1.

And about her coming back? Well, tbh honest I don't know. If she did, I hope she's different. Mabye weak and mutated, or even an old woman or mabye just a complete monster. I'd be dissapointed if she was just the same. If she survived it without a scratch then she would be back in buissness - Natla Technoligies. Or...she might have a child*?

*If anyone starts on about Amanda, I will mutate and start throwing fireballs, okay?

But she's dead. So is Larson, and Peeire, so I highly doubt it.

in ledgend she is dead. long dead. it is a re make of TR1, so she is gone. if they brought her back it would be dissapointing. but new natla does look cool.

Attached means the actor/actress is tied to the project, in most cases by contract. Keep in mind voice actors are a bit different to film and television since some would voice multiple characters for the same game.

Thanks. That is true, he could be signed up for another part. He's an actor isn't he, so he could do more voices. It's just that he's signed up as Larson, so I was just wondering how accurate the site was.

l have patiently waited over 10 years for Natla to return, l never thought the pyramid blowing up in Tomb Raider 1 killed her anyway, and there was never a cutscene of Lara killing her so her fate was left open. l cannot wait to play Anniversary to see what clues we can find to the story line in Tomb Raider 8

l am amazed that there are still people futilely hanging on to the mutation theory, and who believe that a being thousands of years old and able to survive an atomic blast, could not survive the pyramid exploding. l would have thought the new opening cutscene in anniversary would have finally sorted that out, seems not. :scratch:

l could see hints of one of Toby Gards early unused story outlines from Tomb Raider 1 in Legend, it might have taken a while to finally get here, and it might have changed a bit, but l cannot wait to see where the story goes in Tomb Raider 8, and who Lara finds when she uses Excalibur next :D
