I thought for a second that this one below is taken from next-gen mode... but I am not sure... maybe someone will be able to confirm that or not...

For next-gen mode You need video card which will be able to handle it... my Gigabyte Radeon X600 Pro 128MB is not able to do that... in order to play Tomb Raider Legend I must switch off e.g. depth to play in 1024 x 768 resolution mode on my PC... I was thinking to change it on something from the top shelf which support DirectX 10 technology which comes to masses with Windows Vista... but I hope not yet it will be necessary...

That would be a normal PC screenshot then. The PC version has been juiced up compared to the normal Legend PC version. But there will not be a Next Gen option.

cant find it for the life of me, but the pic i saw had way better textures than the PS2 can handle...and in all honesty, based on the screen shot i saw and the ones i have seen on TRL in next gen graphics, I couldnt really see much of a difference. SO if ur a PC player id imagine that graphics will look stunning

:D Even if next gen option made it look so cool, i am happy finding out that TRA wont have it. 1. because i allways tried to play with it and it run slow, it was annoying but i felt a bit bad when i played it on normal graphics (i think this is what a lot of TRs felt when playing the game :whistle: and very few had computers fast enough to play the next gen) and 2. the graphics have been improved so it will look at least 50% as the next gen in legend

Does anybody is able to eksplain what does it mean next-gen mode?

It means better texture, much more detailed pictures included in game with much more disk capacity? or new features, solutions...? ...this is not the same as DirectX 10 technology... as I think... :scratch:

From Legend. You need a pretty meaty card to be able to run in next-gen mode. :( Or an Xbox 360 (well, it's nearly as nice as the next-gen PC version) :)

Looks like some new features like shadows and different air... so this is not textures only...? better pictures... more huge...?
