So I decided to play throught my legacy of kains again, sTarting with blood omen 2.

I know how alot of you dislike it, but i happen to love it. And can pretty much see how umah can be annoying at the best of times l0l.

But now to the point of this thread, I'm about ready to fire up soul reaver, and upon endless installing on my pc. with the LW's guide, and well nothing happened so i decided to give it a try on my laptop. And you know what it works first time withh movies and all, So I came to the conclusion its my invida card. So my question is I'm contemplating trying a new company for my next card any ideas?.

:) Yeah I tryed that and it worked, but the thing is you cant watch the movies. And I like watching the movie.

Not to mention the big part of why i like the games is the indepth storytelling.

that never played perfectly for me either. But all other things of SR1 did play fine, including all other movies. Ah well.

I always found nvidia to be worth nothing since I had trouble with it since the tnt2 card.

you have 2 main branches, namely nvidia and ati. Now the first thing you should do is GOOGLE any vid card you wanna buy. If you get it, others have.. see what they got to say. Sometimes cards give problems on certain motherboards so its best to also keep that in mind.

furthermore remind yaself cards work on chipsets.. for example.

Its not "I have a ati radeon 9800 pro".. its "I have a Hercules ati 9800 pro". The ati part is the chipset. :)
I know someone with a saphire ati radeon pro and I have no probs with my hercules, she does with her saphire. It should not matter, but it does. (custom drivers, I dunno)

so spend time with google to check your motherboard with your prefered card
