first stop in the water before the island and nick a helicopter then fly into the middle/objective and then kill the tank (you can't nick it) then chase mendoza to the airport and get the ..................:p

The best way is to jump a speedboat, ram it into the island as fast as you can, and grab a Blackhand Hammerbolt chopper. Just don't stop flying usless you want to get hit by about 50 anti-air missiles.

i have'nt seen any blackhand hammerbolts the only one's i've seen are the h-22 savior and the delta chimaera.
also if you go too close to the tank the anti-aircraft missiles will obliterate you, and what i did is go past it as fast as i can then bomb the tank.:D

i went into the water and called a heavy drop for the black persauder boat, went as fast as i could towards the island and launched my parachute if you are good it will carry u all the way into the palace {get the rocket launcher before you start the mission so you can destroy the tank}

the best way is to nick a heli then it is extremely easy.:cool:

what i done is swam back to the mainland,extracted to Agency 5 base,& used the chimera there to bombard the island ,what a sneaky tactic!:lol:

And i nicked a chopper directly from the heli that brings you to the first checkpoint. Worked every time.

How'd you do that? Did you parachute out & grab a passing chopper?

you just get a grapple hook and get it because they just appear randomly and that is a big help for you, i nicked a blackhand delta chimeara, and i lasted until thepalace where most of the turrets gave me one hell of a challenge but the tank is so easy to destroy when you got an attack chopper and if i had a choice or realised that i could go back and get a jet i would have completed the game in 1 day!.

i put on a spoiler tag becuase most of the people probally don't want the last levels spoiled.:D

I've never been lucky enough to have one flying past me when i get out of the helicopter:(

they just randomly appear but if you desperately want one start to shoot in the water to lure them into sight.:D

OK I have a way that is easier and probably quicker than anything I've read here. Ironically it takes patience at the start but once you get what you want it works fine.

Just sit there in the chopper with lovely Maria while panning behind you with the mouse looking for friendlies in Jackson Skreemers to fly by. Once they do, and they do quite often, just jump to one, commandeer it, and do a couple circles on the palace lawn tearing everything up that tries to smoke you, including the tank.

I couldn't believe how easy it was, no jumping in the water, no lousy grappel angles going south on you, just a bit of Rico's jump stunt wizardry and you're off to the palace.

I found part 2 to be easy too, making it through the first try. Part 3 was getting me pissed but only because I made the mistake of reading some very inaccurate info about how to pull off the jump to Mendoza's plane, which is a lot easier than some make it sound. I read it because I got a bit intimidated trying to raid the palace on foot. I made it to the outside wall then got waxed as I rounded it where all the chaos with the tanks was going on. Quite often guides you read are quite misleading, don't know why I bother with some of them.

Once I realized it's just a double tap of the E key to enter his plane while flying above it, it was a snap. All in all I'd say I actually fumbled the most with the last part trying to hone in on Mendioza while skydiving. All the failed attempts trying to get on his plane using the wrong keys I didn't really count as I'd probably have made it the first try if not for that.

It was quite sweet getting aboard his plane with full health, an RPG and full ammo. When I got back to the palace after exiting out of the game end credits I still had full health. They really should have made it so any explosives used on the plane would blow it up and cause a mission failed though, it would have been a lot more challenging and realistic.

I love flying the f-6 comet and it is amazing!Yeah, me too, I really don't like that there isn't a decent airstrip with safehouse you can land and hangar it in to use at your leisure though. The central airport Mendoza takes off from would be ideal if it just had a hangar that saves planes.

It's so cool to hug the ground with it flying above highways and valleys. I want to try using a jet on the aerial race, but I don't know where the ones nearest to that race course are. I tried the gyro copter but it's too slow and I dont like the way the plane that's stashed there handles.

So far I've completed everything in the game except that race and the one on a narrow dirt road with lots of traffic in the NW part of the map. They no doubt made it the only one right by a safehouse because it's the hardest. Too bad using your horn doesn't make people swerve out of your way like in The Godfather.

The f-6 comets runway is basically a small dirt road that is impossible to lland back on.
With my "perfect" skills i land jets at mendoza airport and take off again.:o
