I do not think any of you have seen this one coming, but we did it. :D We are a gaming forum and "Registered User" is just not a good enough title for you guys. :)
Enjoy our new user groups:
New Player
Gamer
Protagonist
Hero
We also adjusted the settings for each user group slightly.
Here is the description:
New Player entering the game.
Every newly registered user. New Players can not have images in their signature and can not post polls.
Gamer
After being a New Player here for 30 posts and 14 days you become a gamer. You can now have images in your signature and post your own polls.
Protagonist
1000 posts and 3 years of membership on this forum. Now you have a fancier user title and a slightly bigger pm box.
Hero
3000 posts and 5 years of membership on this forum make you a true hero in our eyes. ;)
That said, let us all welcome our first three heros:
DaveJ
Deekman
Dhama
:)

I guess Dj answered my question about having to meet one or both criteria. Sad that I've been here as long as I have and still haven't made 1K, but Dj's even worse!

Me has a feeling quite a few members will achieve hero status once we reach June, as it will be 5 years since this forum was created. If you take in to account those who were active in the "old" forum, but didn't get their "register date" set back to their original date, we would have quite a few more already. :)
Waste of space.

Anyone can contact me to have their registration date corrected. A simple PM will do. I`ll gladly fix that. :)

Doesn't it say: "3000 posts AND 5 years of membership on this forum."
Looks like you can be here for 100 years and still wont be considered a "Hero" unless you post over 3000 times.

Come one, Hero. Can't just become a hero for just sitting there. :p

Cool, thanks for that! Had just noticed the new 'ranking' system. Great idea :) Just another year and a half and some 400 more posts, and I'm moving up in the world...

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need
Ah well, I'll keep on dreaming. :p

Seven years here come May!
This weekend, I am finally reconfiguring my desk space at home,
and will finally be getting my old iMac plugged in and running again,
and ready to get back to some custom raiding.
I'll likely be around much more often again after that!

Thats the spirit DEEK, If you haven't already played it, try the Skribblerz stones.... four nicely compact levels to ease you back in.

I only look like Paul Atreides...
;)
Goran, thank you for the information for a member sent me a PM enquiring about how to run a poll. I'm now unsure the member would have been able to if their posts were below a certain level.
Lo :)
