Hi all,
Just want to say this game is awesome! We have been playing it every night from the time it came out. And as long as we stay in our closed group of players it is a barrell of fun.
However, over the last few nights we have been getting people in our server and having problems with these stupid cheats that are available.
Massdestruction and such.
Im confused, every game we have servers for has evenbalances, punkbuster to weed out the cheats. Although its not perfect it rids the noob cheats.
Is there a way other than writing down peoples names and just not allowing them to join.
We run 4 servers BF42,RTR,COD and UO and are absolutely against any form of cheating. This game concept is one of the best i have seen and enjoy it but refuse to play it if the cheats are going to be this rampid. And if you are wondering how we as a group know people are cheating we downloaded some of the ones that are available and tried them in our own closed group. This the only way that we could identify the cheats when they joined our server.
I personally am responsible of talking a large group of people into buying this game. Now i feel bad because of all the aggravation with these cheats.
Get in game and they start with the cheats you can kick them from the server but the one team is short handed. This does not make for good game play.
I would like to know if there are any solutions for this problem?

I have not been able to connect to multiplayer since the demo or full game(ALL other games seem to work) came out! Wish I had your problems!!!!!!!
Ports open, etc.,etc., state-of-the-art rig, cable. Looks like MY BSM is gonna enjoy "shelf space". GEEZ!

Patch is coming soon, I'll hopefully be able to give you some concrete news next week :thumbsup:

i feel bad for pc players. 2 weeks after that patch is released, someone will find another way to corrupt the game.

I have just bought the Computer version of this game. Right now learning the ropes. I was hoping to go on line and play. With all the cheating going on I just may hold off. The only way arround the cheating is clan play. Two clans going at it or just a clan. First of all both must be devoted to honest enjoyable play.

So far I am enjoying the game SP rookie. Great graphics and I love being able to pilot aircraft. That first Plane challege took me awhile.

So best of luck in your campaign against cheaters. Cheats take the fun and challenge out of any games.

Thanks for the comments man. This is a campaign although it is endless :mad2: We will keep fighting it the best we can.
You dont need to hold off, join us we play practically every night. Either at a server host named jon1776, (AAAJIM) donthurtme or Gunny1947. We are playing usually around 9:00pm EST or later.
Not to knock clan play in any way. I have tried it and its not for me.
And in my oppinion we shouldnt have to resort in having to join a clan to play without being ripped off by cheats and hackers.
Everyone should have a fair even shake in games.
AAAJIM is not a clan, just a bunch of guys that like to have fun, without all the idiots that insist on ruining game play. We wont stand for it.
