1. I was able to use a sub in the game now I can't. I was real good at it and got alot of points and ribons. Now I can't select a SUB. Whats up with that any one know?

If you control the shipyard that produces the sub (which is the third and seventh slots on Sololon islands) you should be able to use it. Also there are missions in the full version that you commandeer a sub from the start.
