View Full Version : Up-Down Plane Control Seems Backward

My plane rises when I push the right thumbstick forward and falls when I pull it back. That's opposite all joysticks I have ever used.
I know I can use the invert option, but the software sometimes forgets the invert mode.
Is anyone else seeing the dive/climb inverted?

yes, sounds like your controller is either broken or your holding it upside down :D
Buy a new one, or alternatively go into control settings and invert your axis for planes. :rasp:

I have two controllers that dive when the right thumbstick is pulled back and climb when it is pushed forward. When I use invert mode it works correctly most of the time, but occasionally switches temporarily back to the default.
I don't think both controllers are bad. Does anyone else have this same problem?

You just need to chance the plane controls to 'invert' in the options.

The controls are screwy, I have the same prob. invert doesn't work, it is wierd.

then the solution is learn to fly without the need to invert takes a bit a practice but im a fair fighter pilot and my bombs n torps always go where i want em too :D
