on the concept art, for some reason, she has the legend backpack and boots:confused: and the hair looks like dog ---- :D

i think some of the unlockable outfits in Legend were AoD outfits.
Legend Lara doesn't look the same in them, however.

Rabid probably just got misunderstood. If you hop over to tombraiderhub.com you'll find lots of custom outfits, including from previous games, to be used with Legend for PC.

philip, you and i see very different things in the same picture.

my comment about some unlockable legend outfits being AoD outfits stems from:

-there are many references in Legend to previous games.
the references are sometimes obscured because Legend looks different.
it is on this point that we will have an issue.

-consider the primary Legend outfit itself, IMO, it is an evolution of AoD Lara.
however, we are not talking evolved outfits, so ...

-consider the blue jean sport outfit, reminiscent (but not an "exact" copy) of AoD clothes.

-consider the kazakhstan outfit without jacket, and the unlockable green combat outfit.
admittedly, in AoD, Lara's black top was omnipresent and that is not a feature in Legend, but the reference is there.
the sticking point will be that it is not exact ...

-consider the biker outfit from the england level which evokes an AoD feel although rendered in the Legend style.

the similarities are not coincidental...

Lara has worn combat fatigues long before AOD, none of the outfits in Legend were based on anything from AOD a blue sport outfit has nothing to do with a denim outfit in AOD, completely different material and style. There are no references l could see in Legend to AOD, the concept art was in reference to the Lara model and how they started to update the Lara model from the previous version. There was l believe nothing in the actual game referring to anything from AOD, and l was looking very closely. It seems you are looking for connections in the outfits that simply do not exist rabid metro

in this case, i don't think i can prove anything.

i remain convinced that that the unlockable outfits in Legend are intended to evoke memories of tomb raiders past, including AoD.

Most of the outfits were l think just meant to reflect today's fashions, some were quite likely meant to remind us of previous outfits, or even completely different games to Tomb Raider. Ifyou want to compare any particular AOD outfits l will gladly go and fetch some pics for us to compare. But l think it highly unlikely Lara would wear pink or goth outfits, they were put there merely to amuse the players
