I just wanted to see how the game played with a mouse/keyboard combo. I didn't want to buy a gamepad/xbox controller without playing it. Any thoughts?
Thank you.

I prefure mouse/keyboard.
Got the Xbox controller for windows but i don't use it anymore.
You can use mouse/keyboard/controller combination.
I think the mouse is faster on the maps for selecting. :)

I have been using the Xbox 360 Controler for the PC. I find it easier than the Keyboard mouse combo. My only complaint is that this game dose not support the rumble effect.
It rumbles with Microsoft flight sim X

I'm using mouse/keyboard cause that's all I have.
Took a while to get the hang of flying, but it's good now.
I wouldn't switch.

Xbox 360 controller here.
I find the keybindings very strange for the PC version and could pick up the 360 controls much faster.

dual shock 2 by logitech and it work very well!
This game is made for pads so it's great, rumble feature is great and you options are all on your gamepad compared to the keyboard where I get lost in the mist of a combat, pressing C instead of X.. lol
edit: this game support rumble, at least on my gamepad

I'm using both!
Keyboard / mouse for the entire map and selection situation, how much faster could you be then
my Logitech Rumblepad (mouse for aim) to handle ships and plains as I find that manually using these has a better succes in the game. How else can I sink a BB with 2 to 3 DD's
And yes, I like the Rumble option in the game cause it's funny to feel how the pc is firing
