Error message "insert the original cd"

Hi.

I just bought Legend and installed it a few minutes ago. I have a small problem, or at least I hope it's small.

When I try to play, I get an error message, like "insert the original cd not the backup" and there is an www address which doesn't load, http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=copy&c=%CODE%

I'm SURE the CD is original, and I'm sure my PC meets the requirements.
So what to do?

Have you perhaps tried installing the patch (http://www.eidosinteractive.co.uk/support/patchinfo.html?ptid=88)?

Well I was checking a few more forums, and I found this : Some people have already tried it and Securom has sent them a new trl.exe but it's limited to 7 days. I don't think I can finish a full game in 7 days.
Do you guys have any idea where I can find a no-cd patch, would it work?
