PC Battlestations Midway Login Problem

I downloaded the PC MP demo but could not connect.:mad: I figured it was a bug that would be fixed in time for the release of the game.:whistle: It's not. I can log into game spy with multiple user names but none of them will work in battlestations. I get "unregistered or expired user name" everytime I try to log on with current accounts. If I try to create a new one in game the "please wait" screen appears for hours. :mad2: Whats up? :nut:

I had a similar problem at first, but then I realized I had never logged into Gamespy Arcade. I was just using my Fileplanet/Gamespy id and it gave me the same error your getting. If you can't get it to register from in the game, try downloading Arcade if you haven't already. Log in once then go back and try it from the game. That's how I got mine to work.

Wow, so in order to play a Battlestations Midway I have to buy the game and then install the spyware and adware that Gamespy makes or pay a monthly shakedown fee to avoid the adware portion?

This is why I never purchase games that rely on Gamespy so I guess no Battlestations Midway in my future.

Too bad, looked like it was going to be cool.
