Kamikaze cartoon redone, please rate

That's the main thrust of the joke, in that everyone suicides planes as soon as torpedo is gone............

this guy hangs on to it so he won't be made to suicde.........

Sorry for being PITA but to me that's like seeing German helmet on WW2 US soldier or something.

Also the "shark teeth" nose art on fighters - although loved by game designers world wide - was used exclusively by Flying Tigers air group, volunteers fighting in China India Burma theatre (pretty far from where this game takes place as far as one can tell, and certainly far from any naval action).

actually, the flying tigers got the idea from a picture in a magazine of the nose art an Australian pilot did on his plane
i like the picture, i think it is pretty good

yikes i didn't think for one moment that such attention to detail would be needed for a cartoon!

especially when th einspiration for the plane came from a picture at the very top of this page :)

ok i added the torpedo, but the teef thang is very much seen at the top.

does that attention to detail really detract from a toon? am curious is all, it wouldn't to me but i can barely tell apart a 747 from a spitfire

i just thought it would be a hunourous take to wonder how the little computer people would react when they see every plane suicide after dropping bombs/launching a torpedo

basically it was my first go at PC drawing and i wanted to show off a bit, but also DID want to know what others thought, think i may need a less discerning bunch to show the next ones too tho!

Actually you're wrong about the sharks teeth nose art...very wrong indeed! Many units used that particular decoration, and even the Flying Tigers had copied it!

Plus there were other squadrons from the USAAF and worldwide who used a shark's mouth design.
