What type of game do yall like to play? 2vs2,3vs3? 1vs1? post it here, and give the reasons. If you want, post your strat.
2vs2 is ok for me,anything bigger isn't quite as fun. I like 1vs1....or,well..realy 1vs everybody else. That way I have full control over the strategy employed. It allows me more strategic approaches than the bigger games. I'm 2 for 2 in 1 vs 3....its harder for 3 individuals, with different things in mind,to beat one person with a set goal.
I usually play Japanese. At the start I create 4 squadrons of torp bombers, and two squadrons of fighters. Immediatly Send them straight for the carriers. Have your fighters occupy the enemy planes while your torpedo bombers hit the carriers. This will take care of the carriers with in two minutes if they don't start out with over 4 squadrons of fighters. After I have the enemy air support I mop up the remaining fighters with some zeros, then have everything land. I have 3 squadrons of torp bombers circle above my ships (1 on each battleship, and the other on the destroyer/cruiser) to help out with any naval threat. 2 dive bombers are equipped with depth charges if I have a cruiser instead of a destroyer. My remaining planes are divebombing his shipyards while my own ships advance.
On the flip side of the strategy (naval aspect) I begin usually with 2 bb's,1 ca,and an ss. I send my sub to sink ships at random (of course avoiding dd's). The 2 bb's are sent at the enemies ships to stall them until I can get my air support. I leave the ca right outside of my shipyards for that extra AA support incase the enemy immediatly sends divebombers to my docks. Once I get my torp bombers flying CAP,there isn't going to be much in the way of the shipyards anymore.
point out any flaws you might see in my strat
