Help choose please!! CD:rom

Hello I just got Hitman blood money but i keep lagging like crazy:mad2: when i play the game even in the menu I have ati radeon 9550 i dl the patch i couldn't find out how it went because the real problem is my DVD/CD rom won't open or close it gets stuck i took my cd rom out and opened it up but no good couldn't find the problem it just gets stuck im so stressed out want to play so bad so i decided to just buy a new CD/DVD rom but I don't know what to get My computer is a Sony vaio pcv0rx650 sony vaio digital studio I can't find the same dvd rom for this computer in my store can you give me some advice tips on what kind of DVD rom will run on this comp? i want something good if you could help me out would be great thanks :D

sorry but i found out whenever i press the botton it sometimes open then i tried putting the hitman bm cd in it loaded but started to make these beep sounds and screeching if anyone know what this please help :(

It doesn't matter which kind of dvd you buy it's pretty much all the same. If you want a dvd reader just ask for one in the shop, your brand of computer doesn't matter for this.
