I`m so damn bummed out by this...it`s news to me that he died cause i didn`t get to log on and check the forums in a long time because of college...but here i am and i read that he died...
Well...all i can say is that there will never be one like him and he is and will be missed by all who knew him..personaly or through his superb work.
this deals a serious blow to the LoK comunity too...
and if ever a new LoK game is made it would be an insult to his memory to use some1 else as the voice of the Elder God...
....RIP old one...u rocked...
P.S. I`m sorry for bringin up old news n such but i simply had to pay my respects in one way or another to this legendary person:(

Wow! I'm a bit late to get the news! Last time I was on was back in '05.
Anyway's I remember him in a movie starring Kim Bassinger and he was a God from another planet.
The movie was called "My Stepmothers an alien". Good movie! I loved his voice, it was very strong and impactful through his voiceovers.

Yep, we'll all miss that great man. From the feel of the outtakes in SR2 and Defiance he was a fun guy to work with. I doubt we'll have anything to worry about as to the future voice of the EG, as it seems LoK has no future. If I'm wrong (and I hope I am), I'm sure they'll get someone suitable to the task. It seemed to work out OK when Alastair Duncan voiced Mortanius in Defiance rather than Tony (as he did in BO1).

We allowed the original thread to remain open for two weeks. (It has since been moved to the LOK archive). Because you, (Erving) were probably not around for that period, we'll allow this an additional seven days.
Thanks. :)

At least we know he will rest... none of that 'Wheel' stuff in the real world.
LoK won't be the same without Ol' Squiddy...
Does anyone else find it weird how when an actor you've not seen in much, but still admired, suddenly passes away... it makes you get all defensive and think that no one should EVER be brought in to replace him?

tell me about it...i`m thinkin now how old Sean Connery actually is...and it`s now in his elderly years that he`s really shinning! young Sean is nowhere as cool and kick*** old Sean...his demenour and sheer persona is mindboggling
I don't know much about you Tony Jay,
But I know you gave voice to Elder God
(memorable "The choice is not yours")
Rest In Peace, Man
Rest In Peace...
