Can't liberate more cities!!!!

i'm on the second island, i like to liberate ALL the cities i encounter....but.....the man who is supposed to let me start the liberation only give me the side missions option.....

help!!!

You cannot liberate more cities until you've solved some main missions;)

yes, you have to do the mission on that island before you can proceed. be careful, if you complete the game, all except a few villages/cities/towns will be overran by guerillas, and all that would really be available is the side missions.

You spot a liberation when the guy is holding a gun

you need to get further in the game to be able to liberate bigger bases.
they probally put it this way because for the big bases becuase when you get to liberate them they use cooler and rarer vehicles and blast you with tanks.
if you want to liberate mendoza airport then you have to complete the game unfortunately.
