I heard that Angelina Jolie isn't going to act in the third installment :( Is it true?

she has always said that as long as the script was good and she could have input she would do it.....Angie is contracted to do a third and a third is on the cards...so lets hope so

I've always heard the same. I read where she wasn't too happy with the TRII outcome after the movie was made, but is under contract for a third installment.

If for some reason she doesn't star in the film, my favorite replacement choice would be Rhona Mitra herself. I think it would be awesome to have the "original" Lara represent Miss. Croft on the big screen. :D

What do you mean by the "original" Lara? Who is Rhona Mitra? :scratch: That name does sound a little familiar but I'm not sure where from.

Rhona was the first official Lara Croft model to represent Tomb Raider in real life. She was so good at portraying Lara, and gained so much popularity, that she went on to become a very successful actress in Hollywood. She has starred in many movies and TV programs since then. She has always been my favorite model, and with her acting experience and background with Tomb Raider, she would be an awesome fit for a TR movie. Plus, she is from England and has a beautiful, original, British accent. :D
