Help!

I'm stuck on the level where you have to get the painting while the what so called 'red ghost' is killing you. I know that if I get to close the blue light will dissapear but whenever he stops and I try to get to it; he quickly awakens and starts attacking me. Does anyone have any good tips to pass this level? I'm really stuck. :scratch:

Too bad there's no AoD section. You have to shoot the ghost until it stops moving, then you have to put away your gun (shotgun, presumably) and quickly run to the glowing painting. Grab it. Run away. This may be tricky because of the irritating controls.

Get as close to the painting as you can without it moving. Make Lara crouch so she won't get too much damage from the ghost. That way once you've stunned it you can get to the painting quickly.

You might want to save after shooting the ghost a certain amount of times, in case it wakes up while you're trying to get the painting.

i actually skipped this level...i found banging my head against a wall much easier

So I crouch right after I shoot the ghost or what?!

You crouch first and then shoot the ghost. If Lara stands she'll get knocked about by the ghost and lose a lot of health. If you crouch while you're shooting the ghost she won't take so much damage. Stay in one place and shoot the ghost every time it swoops in front of you.

Once the ghost is stunned, make sure you put the shotgun away before trying to get the painting, or Lara will just run around in circles pointing the gun at the ghost.
