problem with Visual C++ : "abnormal program termination"

Hello !

I just install Hitman contracts and the latest update i found (v174) and i still have the following message error :mad2: :

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library
runtime error
program : "C:\program files\eidos\hitman contracts\hitman contracts.exe"
abnormal program termination

I have not found any answer that can help me. :nut:

Does anybody can help me ?

My PC: :D
Windows XP media center version 2002 SP2
Intel Core2 CPU 6400 (2.13 GHz)
2Go of RAM
Radeon X1600 (512Mo)

I'm no comp geek but I think that usually refers to a missing or misplaced .dll file.
Check the CD's files with the ones on your HD.
Uninstall, Re-install. Don't update unless it's absolutely needed.

Thank you for your answer but I have already check the files and uninstall and re-install the game :nut: :mad2: :scratch: . I just contact eidos support and I am waiting for the answer.

I will tell you what to do to fix that problem.
