PC vs XBox-360

[Crossroads]

I was looking for a game for the 360 when I found BM. IMO some games are better suited to PC such as Battlefield 2, while others usually sports, Burnout 3, etc... are better suited for a game console. At first glance I would guess this game would be better on PC as I would be concerned the features would be limited on a gaming console and you would have more functionality on a PC.
I can run either output to my 42 in HDTV and would rather not have to buy the game twice.

Any thoughts?

This game will come down to personal preference. On PC,the only advantages I forsee is many mods. On xbox 360,you get all the controls bunched up into 11 buttons (i think 11,not sure). Yes,you can hook up a gaming pad to the comp,but these aren't always compatible with individual games...and we still don't know if you can change the control interface. Your xbox 360 will be somewhat portable,while a PC is stuck on your desk. The PC,if you have a decent system,is considerably more powereful than 360. The PC version might possibly have modding tools with-in the game,like some other games on its genre do (Company of Heroes,RTS).



Your choice,don't worry....you don't have to make it yet.

Im gettin the xbox 360 game because of 2 reasons:

1:My pc is crap.
2:The HI DEF on the 360

But at the end of it.......its which you like better, playin on the 360 or the pc.

This has been a tough one for me, but i think i came up with the x360 version.

Only going with it mainly for the online and friends thing. Well maybe becuase i think it should run better on my x360 than my PC also. When a PC demo comes out and my PC runs it well i might get both just for the mods, but other than that i just may stay with the x360.

Also with XNA out for the x360 who knows maybe the x360 will see mods also!? Can only hope Eidos will support mods for the x360. Since its still so new (XNA) i don't think any game right now supports it. Yet if Eidos wants a edge maybe its something they can jump into before anyone else people will buy the game just to mod. I sure know it's more than wanted over there in the console world!

Ill be getting both 360 version to start with tho ill get the pc version at a latter date ie after i get my new pc and also when some mods are availbe for ie pacific war 42 -45 and Alatic thetres will definalty tageted by mod teams as well as a sothern pac mod featureing new guinea / solomon /santa cruz with battles such as iron sound ect because id love to sail some ozzie ships maybe a mod will come out soley based on events featuring the HMAS sydney
and her final battle with ss komaran but i dobt that but im sure she and her sister ships will be in naval engagements around Solomons/NG
