Pricing, and in General

This is a serious question, not trying to be rude.

So I notice the price for the Xbox 360 is $59.99, while the price for the PC is $39.99.

Is there a developer on here that can explain what's in the Xbox 360 version that makes it worth $20 more? I still have no clue why games went up $10 just because of a new system. But if there's 2 identical games, but one for a different system (PC) is $20 less...can I expect twice the missions? Twice the graphics?

Welcome Vots. I believe the reason is because of the additional cost for producing games for teh consoles (development and tools) combined with the fee's that are paid to (in this case) Microsoft for making games for thier system. Sorry, I have only had 30 minutes of sleep today and for the life of me can't remember what the fee is called. PC games don't have these types of fee's.

its still crappy! 60 bucks just for a game, thats why i dont buy any games anymore, 60 bucks! that can seriously add up very quickly! i wish it was 45, 45 sounds good for a grade A+ game...

i wouldn't worry America. even at 60 dollars your still only paying £30 per game. 360 games over here are around £40, and thats when you get it from a retailer selling below RRP (usually £49.99)

in canada, the games are about $80 (with tax, $70 with ought tax)

so that just means since there would be no licencing fee( unless disney got that some how) for WW2 it is going into someones pocket
because whether it all the games for a console game are marketed with the same price point
if you didn't have to pay for a licence and your game was basicly like 1 that was licenced you could sell it cheaper and the licence would not be worth anything
that is why all the games are the same price for consoles
computer on the other hand are built by way too many companies and individuals with an ungodly amount of combonations there is no 1 company that can choke the system except microsoft for the uber designware that lets designers access all the OS's abilities

i jsut went to EB today and preordered mine.. i payed for all of it today and it came out to $68.83... i was surprized cuz in canada new games usually are like 80 bucks..but im not complainign lol
