So I was wondering what some of the featuers of this game would be on the multi player side.
1.How many player will be allowed in the PC version?
2. What mods will there be?
3. Is Multi player important to you folks.

i would guess that the number of players would be the same for PC and 360 because i have only seen things say that there will be 8 people online,

I agree about how important online play is, in fact the main reason I bought a 360 was Xbox live

Online and clan matches are important to help extend the lie of the game but for me single play is tops on my priority list. Having children and having to change a diaper or whatever in the heat of battle isnt cool. It's like "hold on! I gotta change a diaper" and either I get killed or kicked. :nut:

i had heard that all game types will be objective based (so i don't think that there will be any death match, although i could be wrong) i had also heard of one where both teams have a landing craft and an island, they need to escort their landing craft to the enemies island, while trying to stop the enemy from getting to their own island

I hope there is not a death match and if there is I will not be playing it because I can already see people hiding there last sub in some obscure corner of the map or taking advantage of the unlimited fuel the planes have in this game and running from the enemy unnecessarily prolonging the game. If you play RTS games online then you probably know where I am coming from.

I dunno why multiplayer is only 8 players for PC. On the Xbox, the host is using a DSL. On the PC, the host can be using a much more powerful connection thanks to dedicated servers. Most PC games support around 32-64 players nowadays...

You want to imagine 64 players all with 1 unit a piece???? Every time someone lost thier unit they would leave! Not sure it would work with this game. Besides 4-v-4 is very good With a few units a peice.

Odd... My 360 has a very good cable connection. Maybe I'm cheating. I didn't know the 360 needed DSL.
Oh, and you can dedicate with the 360 on one game so far R6:v. Hopefully other games will follow suit.
