Left is the Lara we saw in the articles, middle Angelina Jolie and right Catherine Zeta Jones.

Crystal Dynamics, please make Lara in TR:A look like the model on the right.

The CZJ one is far easier on the eye. It still looks like Lara without looking so...urm...old-fashioned.

it looks very good! :thumbsup: MUCH better then the one on the left! (the one on the left, the new model - for the very first time I think that Lara looks bad. and yes, I just used an extreme word.)
the only problem is that all of them are way off. but I would like to see the one on the right (CZJ model) on TR:A if we wont get TRL Lara (and we wont...). ;)

If I had to choose though, I think I would go for the 3rd one, the mouth looks more natural.

Yeah, the hair must be worked on a bit. I like the 'Catherine Zeta Jones' version, but even that one could be improved. I don't like Lara's nose in that version.

Po Yu's version is lovely as well, but there's something I don't like in Lara's mouth. Perhaps her lips are too big or too high.

The eyebrows could be worked on as well. Lara doesn't have round eyebrows, but more 'angular', like this:

I don't think Lara should look as impish small faced as the third picture in the first offering (Patjs07's). It is good work, but it stops looking like Lara to me if the lower face is shortened. The smoldering eyes are very very Lara, though.

Using Patjs07's eyes and hair, and CD's facial structure, Po Yu has really captured the essence of what Lara has (and should) always looked like, in my opinion.

*shrugs* I dont know...I kinda like the one CD has right now. More I look at it the more it grows on me. It's kind of a classic, sophisticated natural beauty and I might add it looks very similar (if you ask me) to her mother in TR:L.

Po Yu's is quite good, but I dont care much for the lips.

Lovely work all artists, although I mainly agree with CatSuit&Ponytail here, Po Yu always captures the essence of Lara in his work, although there is something slight about the top lip thats not quite Lara, I think if the bottom of the upper lip was raised very slightly, exposing the inside of her mouth very slightly it might fit better.

What I don't understand is why they didn't keep her face the same as in Legend :scratch:

that is a very good question. :confused: I mean, most of the fans are very satisfied with Lara's looks on Legend, right? and it's not like there's a major change in the graphics or anything... :scratch:

just noticed Po Yu's work- it's lovely, but IMO her upper lip should be a bit smaller.

hmmm... she looks more like the Legend Lara than the renders show... not a huge problem for me, because I think the Legend Lara was the prettiest, and Anniversary Lara has the more youthful version (obviously).

i've noticed that the actual screen shots of ingame lara look very much like legend lara. but the renderings of ingame look nothing like legend lara...so i would bet the actual screen shots are closer to the final lara
