Well this really sucks!I believe that I have worn out my TR2 CD.
I have been playing it again for the umpteenth time, this time with my 3D glasses and now my computer will no longer read the disk. Everything else works even TR1 so I the disk must be the culprit. It won't even auto start it just sits there and runs for ever.
I have to admit that it is rather beat up. It's been around a long time.
Oh, well next trip to CompUSA I'll get a new one.
I just finished the Coliseum level in TR1 using the graphics upgrade and it looks great. Really seems like a new game!

I have found after playing my game disk repeatedly, my pc stopped reading it. After I cleaned my disk, it worked fine!
Have you tried cleaning your TR2 disk just to be sure?

You don't happen to throw them out the window or use them as a weapon like that Japanese clown in "James Bond: Goldfinger?"; do you. I mean: normally, when you're really careful with cd's and DVD's they should run fine forever!
I know: I have had cd's for ages and they still work fine ... and I am very careful with them. Well, I hope for your sake that it runs fine again very quickly! You have my support, my friend! Go in peace (and bring me some carrots!)

Give it a real good soaping in the sink, make sure it's clean.
If that fails, put it in the washing machine!!! :D
Take good care of your other TR cds... or pay the ULTIMATE price!!!

I have cleaned it but it has some noticeable marks on it, I have several TR1 CDs but only one TR2.
I think I saw it for only 9.95 the last time I was at the computer store.
I'll get a new one. I discovered that it is the cab file that it can't read.
I thought that if I could get it copied to my hard drive I could make a clean copy but it can't copy the cab file, I get an error message every time.
