I've heard that this has ALOT of bugs. Although minor bugs like not being able to complete a mission, by a glitch doesn't really bother me. Does it have bugs that keep you from EVER completing a mission? (Like if you quit and retry)

Right now i have the demo, and can't get the prototype jeep to the point in time, but *shrug* that's just my fooling around with paracute's and stunt positions. I can run the demo at 15-20 fps on max low, which suits me, untill i get my new rig.

2.4 Ghz Celleron
Geforce 5500FX 256MB
1 GB RAM
Think it's worth the what, 40-50 bucks when I'm trying to buy a new computer at the same time? (Anyone wanna give me their old Just Cause if they don't want it?)

Thanks for any reply's and opinions. And nice forums too.

well....the game is certainly worth the money,as it is unique in most aspects but an upgrade is essential as the game is VERY demanding.
yes the game is buggy but i can assure u that u will eventualy complete it if u wanna do 300+ side missions,as the bugs dont realy get in the way of missions (
(90% of the time)
i must admit i did encounter a few probs on my old system, but with my new one it is much more playable.
if u can tolerate a handfull of minor bugz its a blast!
sadly,my opinion is that its no comparison to gta,but will do as a gap filler until the next gta.

Well seeing as I have only played gta 1 and 2... :mad2:

I have a question, after you complete teh first level in the real game, (It's teh same as the demo right?) do you have to have the missions completed by sundown? Because in the demo it's pissing me off. I start the game, parachute down, land on Estaban's (Sp?) car, pull him out, run him over.
Then i grab a bike and just fool around untill sundown. Go base jumping, (141 meters, or yards). I wish the demo had the grappling hook. And i like teh ending of the demo. :D Took me forever ot figure out how to the get jeep to the bridge. :lmao:

Hopefully i can get it for my b-day in 6 days. (Or 7. Next sunday, the 26th)

Well birthday came, got Just Cause. Except for it's in DVD format, and I don't have a DVD drive. What can i do, or do i have to go out and buy a DVD drive?

Ehh. Finaly. Today I went out and bought a DVD drive. Got home, got ready to install. Found out i had to take out powersupply to fit it in... (Just to install it., then i could put it back when i was done.)
So i get it in, set up my CD and DVD drive to "Cable Select", and boot. Neither are showing up. So i took out the powersupply flipped the jumpers and set them back in. Then desided i'm gonna die of the dust in here, so took it to the garage and blew it out with the Air Compressor. Now It's back in my room, and installing.
