Bright Entertainment, creators of Tomb Raider iDVD, and Tomb Raider Chronicles, the internet's number one destination for intelligence and media on Lara Croft and Tomb Raider, are offering fans a chance to win a brand new Lara Croft mannequin based on The Angel Of Darkness model.

Produced by leading manufacturer Muckle and sculpted by Studio Oxmox, our spanking new Lara Croft mannequin stands 175cm tall and is a limited edition collector’s model. There are presently only four new mannequins left for purchase in the world, and one could soon be yours!

We have produced an exclusive Spot The Difference render of Lara Croft with 20 hidden modifications that we challenge entrants to discover. Along with your email identifying the differences, we’re asking fans to include a short note on what Lara Croft and Tomb Raider means to them. We believe this exclusive mannequin should go to Lara’s biggest fan.

The competition – exclusive to Tomb Raider Chronicles – will run until November 31st, when Bright Entertainment will select a winner. The competition is open to all countries and to all fans of Lara Croft. Bright Entertainment’s final decision is final, and no discussion or negotiations will be entered into.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure enables the player to control Lara with the simple up, down, left, right and enter command buttons of a standard DVD remote control and is aimed squarely at the Xmas non-gamer mainstream market.

Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure will be released on Monday November 6th, and can be ordered direct from Play.com. Terms and Conditions apply. Follow the below blue hyperlink to begin your challenge.

Thanks for yet another opportunity.

How can I enquire about some differences, if they count as single or as multiple, without giving away the answers? :)

Hi TREEBLE.

You can drop me a PM. I won't give you the answers, but I'll let you know if you're counting two differences as one. ;)

Craaaaap! I can only find 18!!!! :mad2:

This is fun actually. Reckon we should have some like these more often, not only for competition matters (obviously that makes it all the more interesting), but it'd be fun to log in every Saturday or Sunday and have a different sort of puzzle to fool around with and train the brain, like crosswords, spot the differences etc. all within the Tomb Raider theme. :)

From the original post:
The competition is open to all countries and to all fans of Lara Croft.
So, yeah, it is possible :)

Nice prize, but I have absolutely no space to keep a life-size Lara Croft mannequin :p

There are only 18 differences. No use trying to find two more.
P. S. I know, that all of you are more fanatical about Lara, than I am. And the competition is all about being fanatic - not finding the differences. So, what do you say if I just post a picture, that shows all the 18 differences?

Zelda Master
11-03-2006, 04:24 AM
okej can you also send a picture with all the differenses circeld?
ot do you have to describe them

nevermind both are posseble:lol:

but do i have to sent my information about where i live or not thats handy to know for myself:lol:

CORRECTION

"There are presently only four new mannequins left for purchase in the world, and one could soon be yours!"

The original copy said there were only four mannequins in the world. Obviously there are more than that :p But there are only four new mannequins left for purchase.

Here it was:

It took me one minute to find the differences and another half an hour to understand that there are only 18, not 20.
P. S. If you really want to get that mannequin, you'd better invent a nice story about how you love the whole "TR" franchise.
Jeeeeeeeeez, ain't I a spoiler!!!!

Headache
11-03-2006, 10:57 AM
Nope. I missed 2 of those.... There are 20.
(Unless Im wrong, but I observed and looked hard for about 30 minutes, since I was unsure.)

It depends how picky you want to get about what is different.
The first time through, I found over 30 differences.
But some of those differences were just a few pixels in change. :nut:

I know!
I found about.. 25 in the end. So I just sent in the ones I thought would be more... 'reasonable'
I suck at these kinds of things.

Oh, sorry for being such a spoilsport. :( Just wanted to help the real "Tomb Raider" fans a bit. We have an idiomatic construction in Russia - "Bears service". It means offering help when needless, which turns out in no help at all - on the contrary even. I think, that's exactly, what I tried to do.
Anyway, how can one decide how many differences are there if in some places they are so close, that you can't distinguish either that is one difference or two. I found two more distinguishments in the pictures, but they are so close to the ones, that I found before, that I don't know either that's one or two.

It is always nice to see someone truly deserving win a competition! :)

Gah! I always thought you were a guy! Sorry.

Looking good and in a place she's worth being at, I'll add as the others already have done so. So in fact you really painted that 6" Playmates shirt black! I thought it was just photoediting when you posted that composite with that figure on a Great Wall screenshot a couple of years ago! Nice job.

Acceber
02-16-2007, 02:01 PM
You mean this?

http://www.btinternet.com/~drakanraided/slog/acceberentry.jpg

Did I post that here?

I repainted the entire model (the Playmates Lara & Bengal Tiger), apart from flesh and facial detail. Black top with silver trim, repainted the shorts with a camo effect (you can't really see it in the above), painted the backpack dark gray, painted the boots black and darkened her hair down... the latter two points are no longer valid, but I think they were accurate at the time I did the model. Lara has always been brunette on my TV screen, anyway. My memory is faulty. ;) I have other pics somewhere...

I have since painted the Lara & Crocodile Playmates model to mimic the unreleased Area 51 6" Lara, and am working on a diorama for her. :nut:

Anyway, thanks! :) Glad we could clear up what I am not. :rasp:

Treeble
02-16-2007, 03:07 PM
Well, if you didn't, I've seen it elsewhere, coz it's exactly what I was talking about. You've done a great job nevertheless - I would never dare to touch my Lara figures unless I had dozens of spares, which I obviously (unfortunately) don't. ;)

Would love to see the pseudo Area 51 replica. :D
