Deus Ex GOTY Edition STRANGE BUG!?

Ok, i just destroyed the virus in the VersaLab i think it's called and killed the chineese woman with the dragon blade, and after that Tong calls me and tells me to meet him again.....

But when i try to enter the compund. Gordon Quik is suddendly outside the gate........ I cannot talk to him or anything, and i cannot open the gate with the code 1997 :@

So simply there are 2 Gordons now, one at the bar and the other one infront of the gate (as i think he isn't suppose to be front of the gate, probably a bug).

This is preventing me from entering the compund and speaking to TONG, thus not allowing me to CONTINUE THE GAME :@

Tried reloading old save games, it does not help.....

Also the medical guy from UNTACO, i asked him to meet me with TONG, he never appeared in his Facility, plus i saved PAUL and i havent seen him since i visited him in the medical bay.


What can I do to fix this :(

Paul and the doctor will not appear until after you destroy the facility, so they should be waiting.

As for the problem with Gordon: The easy solution is enable cheats, ghost through the gate, and then disable cheats.

To enable cheats: Hit the Y key (or whatever you have mapped to your Team Talk), backspace, and type in jcdentonmale bcheatsenabled true. Next, hit the Y key and type in ghost. You should see a message saying, "You feel ethereal." Go through the gate. Then hit the Y key, and type in walk. Lastly, hit the Y key, and type in jcdentonmale bcheatsenabled false.

What did you do before you went to the compound... i mean like, did you shoot gordon before to make him an enemy or something. Cause i made him angry once, and he hated me until i had to shoot him with an infinity2.:D

Just launch yourself over the walls with your speed-enhancement and blast any white-suited fool who gets in your way. You know you want to. :D

I was pleasantly surprised to see him drop when I put a 30.06mm bullet through his bald head in the Lucky Money. Serves him right for his dumb "go-fetch, JC" attitude. :D

Unfortunately, Max Chen remained invulnerable...

set the 'T' key to talk

(i think you open the DeusEx.INI file)

Then ingame press T

type set deusex.jcdentonmale bcheatsenabled true (remember to remove the word say)

then remove say again and type fly

then when ur over tye walk
