there are 2 things that totally kill the replay-ability of Just Cause.

1) There is no map that tells me where the vehicles I unlocked are located. I've beaten the game storyline, finished all the collect missions, and achieved the highest rank for both groups, yet I think I've only seen 50% of all the vehicles and cool stuff in this game.

2) The mini map in the top left corner doesn't "zoom" out enough. The awesome draw distance in Just Cause allows me to see for miles and miles which is freakin great, but the mini map only shows about 1000 feet in any direction, even when I'm moving quickly and the map has "zoomed" out.

Mostly I just move around in the game blindly, sometimes I find something cool and sometimes I don't. When I do find something cool its nearly impossible for me to remember how to get back there.

yes, and the side missions aren't much different

This game would be better than GTA:VC and to a lesser extent GTA:SA if the side missions were more varied.

And this is no small feat, I am a ******* GTAaholic.

the side missions could be a little more varied, I agree. I don't think the recycling of the missions is the problem, its their simple nature that is. Every mission requires you to 1) go somewhere and pick something up and then 2) bring it back. That gets boring quite fast, even if you are getting different items each time.

I think in the long term though, people come back to a game like this to explore the environment, drive/fly new vehicles, and blow things up. It just seems like Eidos made it really hard for us to do any of that.
