Any info on upcoming TR game?!

Just wondering because I havent heard about anything and thought maybe somebody knew something about it. No telling what the next game will be like. Im just scared they might get all "magical" and ***** on us. Hope not.

Another question. What is this whole "TR: 10th Anniversary Playstation 2" stuff about?

TR8? It's going to be made for the PS3 (so far), and is to be released in 2008 (not sure if that's financial year or actual year). Not much else known I think...

As for the Anniversary Edition, there's another forum for that here. It's apparently a remake of TR1 (maybe 2 as well) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of TR, although it's supposed to come out in the first half of 2007.

Not for at least 12 months most likely longer, how do you expect anyone to know when it will be available while they are still making the game?

Are they? I haven't been able to find any useful information about whether or not it is in development, or if it's still on the drawing board, or if the team is kicking back and taking a break from TR, or what. If I knew they were at least doing some concrete work on it, I'd be happy and at ease.

Trust me they are working on it, but it still has a long way to go, and since several new consoles are not even out yet, it will be a while in development. The next game to be released by Crystal Dynamics will be the AE game coming out early next year

...When the project is made according to the CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) or any other quality process the end date is always known and is set up at the beginning of the project. Such end date can be moved or new features can be added or removed from the project but the project is tracked in order to provide on time with quality product...
