i have looked on the avalanche website, and on there technical support page they state that tech support will be down to eidos?
i dont know why,as the problems occur in the avalanche engine(which is made by avalanche)but eidos only produced the game?
were is the logic in that?
the two companys seem to have no tech support online, but u can drop them an expensive phone call if u like!!!!!(sarcasm);)

Tech support is always handled by the publisher as they usually have the resources and the manpower to handle teh request. I guess they are in close contact with the devs for code related problems though.

When game freezes/stutter it usually is a problem with the sound card or drivers, check so you have the latest drivers for sound and video card + that you have DirectX9c (think the game did want to install that but not sure).

For the record Email support is available through our website, its a little hard to find, but its there. Also our phone number is 415-615-6220, only local toll charges apply.

I just had a look at the eidos support page for this game and it shows 1 item which is the minimum spec for running the game. How about FAQs relating to some of the issues raised in this forum. And maybe an email support form should be made avaliable rather than making us a pay to call a number to get support on a game we have already paid for which should not be as faulty as this one appears to be.

rant over.......

Actually, if you are on the forum, then you would already know about those issues? Its our experience, people who are on the forums rarely go to the support site, if anything they go from the support site to the forums. The issues we are seeing on the forums are not being raised via email support, or phone support. As for getting to email support, it is tricky, and I do apoligize. Here are the steps to get to the email form:

1. Select a title
2. Select a platform
3. Select an issue type (it doesn't really matter which one)
4. If there is a FAQ click on it, if there is not click on the link that says "show me all categories"
a. It should be noted that all the available FAQS for the game are listed here, it would be a good idea to look through the whole list
5. At the bottom of the page there is a link to enter a support request.

I know, kind of a pain, but it was set up by someone before me. The idea was, most questions were answered in the FAQ, so make the user jump through the FAQS before they get a link to send in an email. I have moved away from this idea, and some time in the near future you should notice a change on our support site.
